Black Pottery Perforated Vase ~ Black pottery is produced using a smooth clay which is skillfully hand shaped into graceful pieces of art. This pottery goes through a series of manual semi-finishing… drying… polishing… carving… and lastly a unique method of sintering. The sheen of the black pottery is acquired by the constant rubbing of the semi-dry surface... there are no glazes or sealers applied. Black Pottery remains in a natural state and is recommended for decoration only. Approximately 5 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter. Handcrafted in China.
