This pottery goes through a series of manual semi-finishing… drying… polishing… carving… and lastly a unique method of sintering. The sheen of the black pottery is acquired by the constant rubbing of the semi-dry surface... there are no glazes or sealers applied. Black Pottery remains in a natural state and is recommended for decoration only. Approximately 8 inches tall. Handcrafted in China.
